I just, I really don't know.
Hmm, I guess robots don't need pants to stay warm.
Yeah, pants are practical for people to move around in, but it would make it harder for a robot to move.
I think it's fun that you can change your look by changing your pants.
I can change my antenna.
Yeah, I'm wearing my blue antenna today.
I can't see it, but I know it's there.
Ha, so many questions, but today let's talk about pants.

Today's question of the week, (Wimee vocalizing) "What kind of pants do you wear most often and why?"
My friend Jim is with us.
Jim, human intelligence, I'm coming to you.
- Hi, Wimee, hi, friends.
I wear, I guess you would call them slacks most often, but all my pants are colorful and a lot of them have patterns too.
I like colorful, like plaid.
Plaid's the best.
- Plaid, that's a fun word.
- Yes, plaid is a good word, yes.
So I would say the kind of pants I wear most often is not really the kind of but I'd say slacks, but definitely colorful pants 'cause I like the color.
- I got you, I got you.
Do you coordinate the color of the T-shirt, the sweatshirt, and the pants, or is it kind of just a free for all that all the colors work together?
- It depends on the day.
(chuckles) - Oh.
- Sometimes it's a free for all, sometimes it's coordinated.
(Wimee chuckles) - Got it.
Thanks, Jim.
Friends at home and the Play-at-Home Interface, Teal Dog says, "Standard pants, not fancy, comfortable.
That's why I wear them the most."
Oh yeah, that makes sense.
Standard pants.
Is that what they call them?
Huh, not fancy.
Ooh, fancy pants, that's fun to say.
Ooh, "Jeans because they match with lots of shirts and sweaters."
Yeah, that makes sense.
Kind of like what Jim and I were just talking about.
Yeah, jeans just kind of work, yeah.
Ooh, "Linen pants because they're so comfy."
Linen pants, is that's like cotton?
Polyester?
Like a sheet?
Ooh, "PJ pants."
Oh, school at home!
♪ PJ pants, PJ pants That's fun to sing.
"Green pants," because they're your favorite, Green Tiger.
♪ Green Tiger wears green pants ♪ Yeah.
"Leggings because they are comfortable and warm."
That's very practical.
Yeah, comfortable and warm, that's good, that's good.
Hey friends, let's get singing!
Describe your favorite pants.
How would you describe them?
Hmm, so it could be, like, how it fits, could be the color.
I'll give you some suggestions.
It could be, oh, someone said linen, right?
So maybe it's linen pants.
Some of you already did give descriptions.
Yeah, okay, so your favorite pants.
Let's go.
(clears throat) ♪ Wimee had some Wait, what are my favorite pants?
I like...
I didn't even think.
I don't actually.
I shouldn't sing about mine, I rarely wear pants.
So I'll go with blue jeans.
Wait, no, actually... Oh man, I'm all disheveled here.
I'm gonna go with slacks like Jim said.

That's why you wear them.

This is pretty fun.
Do the stripes go up and down or left and right?
Hmm, interesting.
Purple, (gasps) that's fun to sing ♪ Orange Panda wears purple pants ♪ ♪ Purple pants, purple pants ♪ Orange Panda wears purple pants ♪ ♪ Because it's their favorite pair ♪ (Wimee laughs) Purple pants, I've never worn, I've never seen...
I don't know if I've ever seen purple pants.
Whoa, "dark green pants that are nice and warm for inside winter.
I like all my pants pretty much."
That's a good way to look at it.
I hope we all... You know, it makes... Hopefully, all your pants are good to wear, right?
Okay, Green Pig, I'm gonna say dark green, okay.
♪ Green Pig wears dark green pants ♪ ♪ Dark green pants, dark green pants ♪ ♪ Green Pig wears dark green pants ♪ ♪ Because they're nice and warm in the ♪ ♪ They're inside for winter ♪ And likes pretty pants pretty much all ♪ ♪ Doesn't matter which pants they are ♪ (Wimee chuckles) Jim, I think my head exploded a little.
- [Jim] Yeah, that was a good one, Wimee.
Whew, okay, let's wrap it up with Green Shark's camouflage leggings, okay.

Let's go find out what Moby's gonna tell us today.
(upbeat music) - Are you wearing pants right now?
Pants come in all styles and colors.
There are blue pants, brown pants, checkered pants, even pants with flowers on them.
There are sweatpants, cargo pants, pajama pants, snow pants, rain pants, hiking pants, work pants, dress pants, fancy pants.
Short pants are called shorts.
Underpants are pants that you wear under your pants.
Hmm, that makes sense.
Hey, what are your favorite kind of pants?
(upbeat music) - Short pants, that makes sense.
We call them shorts for short.
(chuckles) - [Jim] Short.
- I didn't even realize that, Jim.
Shorts for short, pants shorts.
It would be a little trickier to walk around and say, "I gotta put on my short pants today."
- [Jim] That would be.
- Yeah, you should try it though maybe, okay.
Okay, friends, it's time for today's ♪ 1, 2, Three-Sentence Story beginning, middle, end.
We are gonna write a story in three sentences.
In the first sentence, we set the scene.
In the second sentence ♪ There is a problem But in the third sentence comes the ♪ Solution Okay, friends, share with us a person, place, or thing.

Purple Crab says cake.
Today's story, it's got something to do with a cake.
All right.
It was time to celebrate my neighbor's birthday and I was in charge of baking the cake.
Yes.
Oh no, I'm in charge of baking the cake, but there's a problem.
Oh no, oh no, I hope I don't... Oh no, I'm worried about... Jim, I just realized I'm gonna be the problem now, right?
Wait, no, I'm not the problem.
- [Jim] Well, we don't know.
The problem's coming.
- Yeah, but I'm responsible for solving it.
- [Jim] It's a big responsibility.
- It's okay.
Okay, cake, tower.
There's a problem with a tower.
Okay, okay.
We were celebrating my neighbor's birthday and I was in charge of baking the cake.
We planned to celebrate in... Oh, you got it?
Jim, I heard the inspiration.
- [Jim] Yes.
- What?
- [Jim] The party is at the top of the tower.
So you have to somehow get to the top of the tower with your cake.
- Oh no, that's gonna be tricky.
Okay, okay.
Okay, okay, here I'm gonna put it all together.
We were celebrating my neighbor's birthday and I was in charge of baking the cake.
I had to get the cake to the top of the tower and I was about to drop it once I was almost there.
No, oh no, it looks... No, no, that made me nervous just seeing it go.
Okay, it hasn't fallen yet.
How do we solve this problem?
Or maybe it's about to fall.
Yeah, we gotta put more of an urgency.
The cake is going to fall.
I'm almost at the top of the tower.
How do I make sure it doesn't fall and go splat?
(Wimee gasps) Roller coasters.
Okay, I got it, I got it, I'm ready.
It was my neighbor's birthday and I was in charge of baking the cake.
I was carrying the cake to the top floor of the tower as it began to fall.
I was so happy that the tower was located next to a roller coaster, and I hopped on it.
No, I jumped out the window with the cake onto the rollercoaster, which wrapped me back around and went right into the window and I said, "Happy birthday!"
That was kind of a long sentence, Jim.
Yeah, does it work though?
- [Jim] That's the important thing.
- I might need to... Yeah, I'll revise a couple things later, I think.
- [Jim] It got very exciting, right, 'cause it's like, "Oh no, the cake is about to go," and then it's like, "Wait, I can get on a roller coaster."
It's very action-packed today.
- Thank you.
Did you picture it like it was about to go down and I leaped.
It's like an action movie.
I leaped out of the window, landed in the rollercoaster, whoa, and then right into the window.
I like the Wimage though.
Do you see the cakes in there?
Oh, here I go, weee and whoa!
This is gonna be the best birthday party ever.
It's kind of roller coaster and cake.
What kind of cake?
Should we add a detail of what kind of cake it was?
- [Jim] How about a confetti cake?
- Does that mean like the frosting's got like confetti colors?
Not actual paper confetti, right?
- [Jim] No, no, no, no, no.
I think you use like colored sprinkles for that.
- Oh, colored sprinkles, yeah, all right.

(Wimee gasps) - Oh, that's even cooler.

It'd be pantalones- - [Jim] Right, but it would be... - Not pink, it would be- - Oh yeah, right, pantalones... - I know this, ro, rose, ro, it's R-O...
I have to research.
- [Jim] We need Lucy.
- Yeah, yup, it's like rose...
I know this, it's on the tip of my tongue.
The word pink in Spanish, I'll check, I'll work on it.
Friends, oh man, guess what?
Oh, you better be ready, Jim, because it's my favorite time.
Right now, coming up, it is officially Jim Time.
(upbeat music) (Wimee chuckling) ♪ Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim Time ♪ - I've got Sparky with me today.
- Hi, Sparky.
- He's gonna help me out with this song.
I'm throwing pics around.
He's gonna help me with this song.
We need some vehicles.
So right now I want you to think of a vehicle, right, different mode of transportation, and we're gonna try to come up with some dances.
- Okay, a vehicle.
- Vehicles.
- Cool.
- So we need six.
No pressure, but we're looking for six different vehicles, and we're gonna try to...
Okay, ooh, we're off to get something.
- Bike.
- We got bike.
We're gonna write these down.
- From Purple Crab.
- Helicopter.
- Helicopter.
I like that one, helicopter.
Okay.
- I'm pretending to be one.
(mimics helicopter whirring) - Yeah, I like it.
That's what we're kind of going to do.
- What about something on the water?
- Like a boat?
- A boat?
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
(Wimee gasps) - Ooh, specific, Volkswagen Beetle.
- Oh, Volkswagen Beetle, all right.
- That's a fun type of car to say, beetle.
- Yeah, right?
Volkswagen Beetle, okay.
- A trolley!
- Ooh, trolley, all right.
We just need one more.
- How many?
Do we have five so far?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6?
- We have 5.
- One more, friends, motorcycle.
- Trolley and motorcycle.
(Wimee mimics motorcycle revving) All right, motorcycle.
- Beep beep.
(both speaking simultaneously) - All right, here's what we're gonna do, we're gonna get the guitar, we gotta get the drum machine to get a beat.
Oh, should we try to work on the drum right now?
I'm gonna say, we're gonna try to come up with some different dances for each of these.
- Oh, nice.
- Let's see.
For the bike, I'm thinking that we can just hold the handlebar and that we can paddle.
So you gotta move your knees and have your arms out at the same time.
You can bob your head too, I think that works too.
All right.
For the helicopter, that would be a good one to just like spin around.
I don't know if I can spin around though.
But we can spin, or we can do this.
How about this?
- Oh yeah, yeah.
- We can be like the propeller.
We can do that.
That's the helicopter.
Ooh, all right, I like that, the helicopter.
- Yeah.
- All right, the boat.
I'm thinking for the boat, we just kinda like rock back and forth, right, because we're doing the boat.
The Volkswagen Beetle's a very small car, so I think that we have to like crouch down and kind of do this, you drive, but you're gonna drive shaking your fist back and forth.
Drive with a little teeny tiny steering wheel.
- Okay.
- And then, the trolley, I think that that, you know, we've got a lot of hills.
So the trolley, maybe we could just even like go, whoa, back and forth up and down the hills.
- Yeah.
- And then, the motorcycle, we gotta kinda rev our hands, right?
(mimics motorcycle revving) All right, so let's try it out.
I got a beat.
Sparky, you got it?
- Yeah, Sparky, you got this.
- Dance along with us at home.
- Great moves.
- Here we go.

- Good job, friends, thank you.

Ooh, that's good for the winter especially.
I'm gonna make a little song.

That was kind of more of a, it's kinda more of a poetry thing.

- [Jim] Well, you know, I was thinking about a watch, right?
Because you wear a watch or jewelry too.
It's not something you would necessarily think of... We got a ring up there and a bracelet now.
- Bracelet, yeah, bracelet just came to the list.
- I bet somebody's gonna type watch for us.
I'm gonna watch for it.
(Wimee giggles) There it is!

And one of my favorite things about this book is it is all about learning how to do brave things.
The main character's name is Jameson, and he loves his green pants.
So much so that he has a pair of green pants for every single day of the week.
That's seven pairs of pants, all green.
And when he wears these green pants, he feels amazing and confident.
Like, he can do anything in the whole wide world.
But he is invited to do something special, be in a wedding, and the wedding colors are not green.
So he has to decide, is he gonna wear the black suit that the wedding party wants him to wear, or is he gonna wear his green pants?
'Cause they give him the choice.
And choice is important, especially when we're trying to do brave things.
But you'll have to check out this book to see what Jameson decides to do.
It's amazing and it's wonderful, and there's also a twist.
